Seize the opportunity to get to know the research and conservation of dolphins and sea turtles in the Slovenian and the surrounding waters first hand - join us at this year's international summer research courses in Piran!
Research course will give you an overview on marine mammals and marine conservation. As part of our research team, you will be able to observe dolphins and sea turtles in their natural habitat, learn about research methods and through fieldwork and cooperation in data collection contribute to the long-term protection of these species in the northern Adriatic.
Research courses will take place from 3rd of June to 6th of September 2019. The price of a 10-day program is 732€ and 488€ for students, which includes VAT, accommodation and food in the research base, fieldwork, lectures, expert guidance and training and basic accidental insurance.
By the end of the course you will have a better understanding of current issues in marine mammal and marine ecosystems conservation, you will learn different methods for studying marine mammals in the wild and acquire practical experience of marine mammal field research.
