Two weeks ago, the European Cetacean Society organised the 31st conference on marine mammals in Denmark, attended by experts from all over Europe and other parts of the world, including the Morigenos team. Polona Kotnjek presented a poster on interactions between bottlenose dolphins and fisheries in the northern Adriatic, while all Morigenos members participated in a number of workshops. We are especially proud that Tilen Genov and his presentation titled “Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in free-ranging common bottlenose dolphins from the northern Adriatic Sea, in relation to demographic parameters” won the European Cetacean Society Award for the best short talk!
