Morigenos president appointed member of the ACCOBAMS Scientific Committee

Tilen Genov from Morigenos was recently appointed as a member of the Scientific Committee of ACCOBAMS (Agreement on the Conservation of Cetaceans of the Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea and contiguous Atlantic Area). The ACCOBAMS Scientific Committee is the central international body related to research and conservation of whales and dolphins in the Mediterranean and Black Seas. It serves as an advisory body to member states and thus includes renowned experts in this field. Tilen was nominated by the European Cetacean Society, based on his long-term active involvement in these issues. The composition of the Scientific Committee was approved by the Meeting of Parties (participating countries), held last November in Morocco. The Morigenos team is proud to have its members participating in cetacean conservation on such international level.
