After yesterdays’ necropsy of bycaught female dolphin, we received another call about a bycaught dolphin today.
Upon examination, we realised that the animal was our dolphin named Ace, which we knew well. He was regularly observed in this area, the last time in February 2015.
We will have more information after the post mortem examination.
This occurs relatively rarely in our study area, but unfortunately occurred twice during this week alone.
We will definitely miss Ace a lot.
