Last Wednesday we successfully completed this year's second research expedition “Tracking dolphins in the Adriatic Sea” in collaboration between Morigenos and Earthwatch Institute.
We recorded 8 dolphin sightings and collected a lot of data. We were in the company of some well-known dolphins as well as some less commonly observed. Among others, we enjoyed the company of Moni with her newborn calf, their friends and Nevio.
The third research expedition is in progress with the participation of young people between 16 and 18 years of age.
Still, we invite students from Slovenia and other countries in the region to join us in our international summer research camps in August and September. Summer research camps are an internship programme on marine mammals and marine conservation biology.
