A press conference of the project »Sea dates, no thanks!« was held on Wednesday, 19.1.2011 in Strunjan, attended also by Morigenos team. A new brochure about the project was published and the first year’s activities presented. Morigenos, as a partner, promoted the project during the 6th Dolphin Day in Piran. First results are very encouraging, as the information about the issue is spreading among people. The Slovenian crime police, in cooperation with fishery inspectors, customs management and veterinary inspection, carried out several seizures of sea dates and started several legal procedures against smugglers.
